Instructions for Learning Remote buttons:

The new DV–5710 HD box comes with a learning remote which allows you to control your set top box and TV with just one remote. To pair your set top box remote with your TV remote, please follow the simple steps as given below.

1.For Samsung TV

 By default, the Set top box learning remote is compatible with all Samsung TVs. Simply press the “TV Mode” key on it and your Universal remote is ready to operate with your Samsung TV.

2. For TVs of other brands:

 Step 1: Press the “OK” and “0” key on the set up box remote together for 3 seconds and then release both keys. The “TV Mode” key on the set top box remote blinks twice and glows. The set top box remote control unit is now in Learning Mode.

Step 2: Place both the set top box remote and the TV remote on a flat/ horizontal surface, with the LED light aimed at each other.

Step 3: To configure the “Power” key, press the “Power” key on the set top box remote. The red[1]light of “TV mode” key on it will blink once. Now, Press the “Power” key on the TV remote. The red- light of “TV mode” key on the set top box remote will then blink twice. Now power key is configured.

Step 4: Repeat the step number 3 to configure VOL +/-, Mute, Source & Navigation keys. (UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT/OK)

Step 5: Once all the keys as required are configured, press the “TV mode” key on set top box[1]remote to save the learning codes. On doing so the red light of “TV mode” key will blink thrice and exit the learning mode.
